Per l’occasione la bandiera del Napoli ha scritto sul proprio sito web: “Sono orgoglioso di questi ragazzi giunti dalla mia Slovacchia in nome dello sport”. Edmonton Juventus soccer team wins in Italy

EDMONTON — The members of the Edmonton Juventus soccer club’s under-13 girls team had their hopes in check when they left for Italy. The girls figured to have fun, experience a new country and to learn about the game they love while competing in an international tournament in soccer-crazed Agropoli, Italy. The team was more than a little surprised when it won the tournament during the weekend. “It was quite intense,” said Hayley Colvin, a striker on the team. “I thought the Italian teams were going to be better. The boys are way better than the girls. I think I would have thought we’d do really good, but I was surprised that we actually won.” Hayley’s mom, Shannon Colvin, said the girls stunned the large contingent of parents and siblings who made the trip to support the team. “They won all of their games,” she said, still recovering from jetlag after her Sunday night return. “They played very well. I was talking with one of the parents and they said it’s the first time a Canadian girls’ team has won gold in this tournament. We’re very proud of them.” Juventus was in a pool with two Italian teams and a team from Colombia, Shannon said. In years past, when coach Don Catena brought his teams to this tournament, the typical record was a win, a tie and a loss. After rolling through the first three games, the girls enjoyed two friendly matches against some older teams. “They played against a team from Memphis, Tenn., and the girls beat them 1-0s,” Shannon said, noting that the Juventus team consists of girls born in 1998. “We were really shocked because these girls were ’97s. They were huge.” Juventus won its second friendly match 4-3 over a team from Naples 4-3. The Italian opponents were born in 1996 and 1997. In the final of the tourney, Juventus met up with its namesake, Italy Juventus. The game was tied 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes, then went to penalty kicks, where Anna Khehra scored the game-winner. “You have no idea how nerve-wracking that was,” Shannon said, laughing. Hayley felt the same tensions on the pitch that her mom felt in the stands. “It was really scary and intense,” she said. Hayley and her teammates were surprised to get some support from the crowd in the final, thanks to a longstanding football rivalry. “There was a whole group of Italian supporters, and we had this group of boys from Naples cheering for us, just cheering for Canada,” Shannon said. “I couldn’t figure out why they’d be cheering for us and then one of the dads says, ‘Naples would never cheer for Juventus in a million years in this country.’ “They were cheering for us and waving the flag and it was … (the girls) did so amazing. I think they surprised themselves. We’re just very proud of them. That was quite a feat.” The Juventus players and their families arrived in Italy a week early to do some sightseeing and adjust for the jet lag as they prepared for the tournament. They also spent time with coaches and scouts from Italian professional soccer club AC Milan, who worked them out for a pair of three-hour sessions. The sessions with the pro coaches and the tournament still topped seeing the Colosseum and the Pantheon for Hayley. “Probably the soccer,” she said when asked about her favourite part of the trip. © Copyright (c) The Edmonton Journal

 

El equipo del Colegio San Luis Gonzaga se trajo subtítulo de Italia

Un buen desempeñó tuvieron los alumnos del colegio San Luis Gonzaga, de Manizales, en el torneo Citta di Agropoli 2011, que se realizó en Milán (Italia) a finales del mes pasado. Un buen desempeñó tuvieron los alumnos del colegio San Luis Gonzaga, de Manizales, en el torneo Citta di Agropoli 2011, que se realizó en Milán (Italia) a finales del mes pasado. Además de llevar la bandera de su colegio, los del San Luis representaron al país y se enfrentaron con equipos de Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Canadá, Estados Unidos, República Checa, Rusia, Alemania, Polonia e Italia. De este tipo de competencias, en la fueron subcampeones, nacieron jugadores, como el ucraniano Andrei Shevchenko. San Luis se enfrentó en la final, de Citta di Agropoli, al italiano Genova. Según el comunicado, el juego resultó entretenido y reñido; en los 90 minutos empataron a un gol y en la tanda desde el punto penalti la historia fue larga para definir el torneo. Los cobros se extendieron y en el 14, uno de los colombianos desperdició la ejecución, lo que le dio el título a los italianos. No obstante, los colombianos quedaron satisfechos por el trabajo que mostraron gracias a que era la primera vez que participaban en este evento y alcanzaron a arañar el título.

 

Nie ma silnego na (młodego) Halnego!

W dniach 17- 23 kwietnia 2011 r. drużyna chłopców LKS Halny Futbolowo Team Andrychów rocznik 2000 przebywała we Włoszech w mieście Agropoli na [1] Międzynarodowym Turnieju Piłki Nożnej Młodzieży. W zawodach tych wzięło udział 105 drużyn (z Polski, USA, Kanady, Rosji, Czech, Wenezueli, Ghany, Kolumbii oraz z Włoch) czyli około 2000 zawodników w różnych kategoriach wiekowych. [2] Dalsze informacje oraz zdjęcia w Czytaj więcej Skład drużyny: Kacper Zaremba – bramkarz, Patryk Drabik, Bartłomiej Płonka, Konrad Gondko, Konrad Kopytko, Cezary Stachera, Michał Studnicki, Jakub Marek, Patryk Zemła, Arkadiusz Fraś, Jan Rokowski. Chłopcy przebywali w Italii dzięki zaproszeniu organizatorów. Zespół na [3] miejscu, pod nieobecność trenera Eugeniusza Bizonia, prowadził Krzysztof Kopytko. Podczas pobytu drużyna Halnego rozegrała 11 spotkań wygrywając wszystkie !!!! Nasi chłopcy najpierw rozegrali dwa mecze towarzyskie pokonując drużyny : Nike Salerno 12:0 oraz Sacro Coure 6:2. To była dopiero rozgrzewka przed tym co mali Andrychowianie pokazali później ! 19 kwietnia rozpoczęli pierwsze mecze grupowe o Puchar Miasta Agropoli pokonując kolejno : Calpazio 2:0 – bramki: Patryk Drabik 2 SC Marriotta 2:0 – bramki: Michał Studnicki 1, Patryk Drabik 1 Vigor Velina 5:4 – bramki: Patryk Drabik 1, Konrad Kopytko 1, Cezary Stachera 1, Konrad Gondko 1, Bartłomiej Płonka 1 Trzy zwycięstwa dały nam pierwsze miejsce w grupie i przepustkę do wielkiego finału gdzie czekała nas drużyna Fox Paestum. Młodzi piłkarze w finale dali z siebie wszystko, pokonując rywali 3:0 po dwóch golach Cezarego Stachery oraz jednym Patryka Drabika ! Puchar został zdobyty. W dniu 20.04 Halny rozegrał mecz z drużyną z Deportivi z Wenezueli stawką był Puchar Europa kontra Ameryka. Spotkanie wygrane 5:1 po golach Konrada Kopytki 2, Arkadiusza Frasia 2 oraz Bartłomieja Płonki 1. Drugi Puchar jedzie do Andrychowa ! 21 kwietnia rozpoczęli zmagania w drugim Turniej z drużynami z Rzymu i Neapolu nie dając im żadnych szans. W pokonanym polu znalazły się kolejno zespoły: Real Casarea 2:0 – gole Bartłomiej Płonka 1, Patryk Zemła 1 Airola Benevento Roma 2:1 – gole Michał Studnicki 1, Konrad Kopytko 1 Freccia Azzurra Napoli 2:0 – gole Konrad kopytko oraz Bartłomiej Płonka Casalvieri Frosinone 4:0 – Patryk Zemła, Konrad Kopytko, Patryk Drabik, Bartłomiej Płonka. Wygranie tych czterech meczy oznaczało, iż Halny powiększył liczbę zdobytych pucharów do trzech sztuk !!!! Więcej już nic nie było do zdobycia. Nasza drużyna okazała się w Agropoli niepokonana.
